We are tech founders, but nothing prepared us for what we noticed on Lucy.

She's a 2-year-old Golden Retriever who wears her collar over 10 hours a day. One day, I noticed bald spots where the collar sat. The rough nylon was damaging her coat.

I hunted for alternatives. Soft collars. Satin linings. But everything felt off - poorly made or not designed with real love.

And then it hit me: if I cared this much, surely others did too.

So I set out to make what I couldn't find. Something that moved with her fur, not against it. Something beautiful.

Something that said: Your dog is family. Every detail matters.

What started as a fix for Lucy became Salura.

Our hope is that Salura becomes a community. A gathering place for people who believe dogs deserve better - not because they're precious, but because they're family.
